As a 2021 Time100Next Honoree, Mayor Aki-Sawyerr had the honor of being invited to the Time100 Impact Awards and Gala. She was humbled to have been asked to present Mr Tony Elumelu CON, founder and chairman of UBA Group, with his Time 100 Impact Award for his incredible investment in human potential through the Tony Elumelu Foundation.
His goal: spurring ten thousand entrepreneurs to create a million jobs in Africa. The Tony Elumelu Foundation operates in Sierra Leone and has impacted young entrepreneurs in our country.
