On Tuesday 20th September, Mayor Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr attended the Clinton Global Initiative reception hosted by Former President Bill Clinton and Hillary Rodman Clinton. It was an honor to meet them both along with President Lazarus Chakwera of Malawi, AFDB President Akinwumi Adesina, and members of the African American Mayors Association including Mayor of New York Eric Adams. Their discussions were focused on the impacts of climate change and the role that cities can play in contributing to solutions. #TransformFreetown
